By removing wood from your waste you not only help with the recycling process but you’ll also save money as it can be sent straight to a wood recycling facility.
These categories encompass three main types of waste wood :
- Class A wood: light in colour and high-quality, untreated, unpainted, unglued. This type of wood is used to make reels, for example.
- Class B wood: treated with low-concentration chemical additives to help preserve it. It might be painted and glued. I.e pallets
- Class C wood: treated and hazardous, including wood used to make railway sleepers.
